Tough challenges, imaginative solutions

The pressures from needing to make expenditure savings is requiring the private and public sectors alike to become increasingly imaginative and creative in devising means to preserve essential elements of their activities. For our police, this means protecting the front line. This puts the spotlight on procurement which, after people costs, is one of the most significant areas in which savings can often be found.
