Central PPE and Clothing Contract (CPCC)

Bristol was awarded the contract to supply a wide range of PPE and non-PPE clothing for the CPCC when it was launched in 2008. The CPCC is a 15 year contract through which fire and rescue services in England can procure national identity clothing for employees throughout their organisations. It offers an extensive range of different items, in male and female sizes, ranging from firefighter protective clothing and station wear to corporate wear, undress clothing and sports clothing.

The products available have all been thoroughly independently tested. Technical performance testing combined with extensive wearer evaluation has resulted in a cost-effective solution for fire and rescue authorities. It has the added benefit of minimising the costs of procurement to individual authorities by precluding the need for local product performance evaluation.
