Fighting vehicle fires

Transport related fires are mostly the result of either technical faults or accidents. Many vehicle fires, involving aircraft, trains and commercial vehicles, start with small fires from overheating brakes or tyres but end up being major fires or, where highly flammable cargoes are present, explosions. In this article by Bristol's International Sales Manager, Paul Gibson, some of the issues involved, and the risks associated, with fires on planes, trains and road vehicles are explored.
