Bristol shows innovation at Intersec
Bristol is at the forefront of firefighter PPE design, and works closely with international fibre and fabric manufacturers to develop innovative garments that offer maximum safety, flexibility and comfort. The company has enjoyed a strong presence in the Gulf region for more than 40 years, supplying PPE through a well-established network of distributors.
At Intersec In January 2019, Bristol will be exhibiting a broad range of PPE solutions supplied within the region, including its ergonomic XFlex structural firefighting garments, as well as Ergotech Action 2 structural fire coats and trousers. These designs come in a variety of colours and fabrics with either PBI or DuPont Nomex fibres, and a choice of moisture barrier such as Gore’s Crosstech Airlock, Crosstech Fireblocker and Parallon. Both styles have recently achieved accreditation for the newly revised NFPA standard NFPA1971:2018, which establishes minimum levels of protection from thermal, physical, environmental, and blood-borne hazards encountered during firefighting operations.
Also on display will be a selection of USAR and technical rescue garments from Bristol’s RescueFlex range, specifically developed to be lightweight and breathable, protecting against wind, water and flame. In addition, a range of protective gloves and hoods will be exhibited, including the revolutionary new Particulate Protection Hood.
Our stand number will be C-509. Further information about the show can be found on the event website.
