In the summer issue we review progress on a number of technical standards currently being developed by EN standards committees and the introduction of a new wet cleaning process which yields improved results in removing hydrocarbon contamination from firefighter PPE. There's an update on the current ICP mid-term Technical Refresh programme due to be completed in early 2015.
